Overactive bladder is a relatively common condition for which patients seek the assistance of a qualified urologist like Dr. Wallen. Also known as “urge incontinence,” this condition is caused by uncontrollable spasms of the muscles within the bladder and results in the unpleasant feeling of having to go to the bathroom even when there is very little urine to expend. While effective treatment options are available, unfortunately many adults are too embarrassed to seek a medical diagnosis and solution for overactive bladder. Dr. Wallen encourages anyone who is having problems with bladder control to call for an appointment – he’s here to help you!
